Mon's BBQ Sauce

By combining the convenience of a pre-made base with carefully selected ingredients, you can create a homemade barbecue sauce that packs a powerful punch. Get ready to transform your menu with this elevated and cost-effective recipe.

Ingredients

1 gallon BBQ Sauce

1 cup Dijon or Whole Grain mustard

3/4 cup Soy Sauce

2 cups Apple Cider Vinegar

1/4 cup Garlic, minced

1/2 cup Onion powder

1 cup Thyme, dried leaves

3/4 cup Paprika

3/4 cup Chili Powder

1/4 cup Black Pepper

Directions

  1. Blend all ingredients with an immersion blender or a standing blender until smooth.
  2. Optional, to thicken the sauce a bit you can add a 1/4 cold water plus 1/4 cup corn starch that you mix together first to dissolve the corn starch fully and avoid clumps.
